Kids Connection

SBS Kids Connection strives to create an environment where kids feel welcomed and safe. We create a space each Sunday morning for kids to play, grow, and learn about Jesus and His love for them. Our volunteers set up age appropriate classrooms for each grade and each phase of learning.

Every Sunday morning, after the corporate singing and announcements portion of the meeting, the children of SBC gather for their own songs and instruction in Children's Church.

We offer classes for all ages, and our volunteers will help direct you and your family.

The purpose of our Children's Ministry is to supplement the biblical teaching and training that parents are already giving their children and we strive to do that in a way that the children find fun and enjoyable.

We want our children to grow up with a positive church experience while they learn the Gospel and the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith.

Security is also a priority in our Children's Ministry classes and for that purpose we have a sign in and sign out procedure that takes place at our Welcome Center on Sunday mornings.

Ages / Locations

  • Nursery is available for babies through toddler age.
  • Preschool Children's Church on Sundays  (Age 3 - Preschool) Room 107.
  • Elementary Children's Church on Sundays (K - 3rd grade) Room 208-209.

Times

  • Children's Church is @ 9:45am.
  • Sunday School is @ 11:00 am.

AWANA

Awana is a global, nonprofit ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love and serve Him.

How does Awana fulfill this mission? Through God’s guidance and power, Awana strives to reach kids, equip leaders, and change the world. The main idea behind Awana is helping kids hide God's Word in their heart.

Sundays @ 5:30pm - 7:00pm in our Family Life Center

    • Cubbies is the AWANA club for children in Pre-School
    • Sparks is the AWANA club for children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade.
    • Truth and Training club is for boys in grades 3rd through 5th grade.

SBCKIDS - WORSHIP ON WEDNESDAYS

Discipleship is vital to every Christian, but especially important to young, growing minds and hearts. SBCKids on Wednesday nights is centered around Bible-centered teaching through fun and engaging curriculum.

While adults and students are meeting for classes, choirs, and more, our children meet together in our Family Life Center GYM. There is also nursery and preschool available so that parents can take part in disicpleship classes at this time.

Wednesdays @ 6:15pm - 7:30pm in the Family Life Center Gym.
