Adventure Club is a childcare facility for infants through 5th grade that began as a small ministry of Simpsonville Baptist Church.

It remains a part of the church, and has grown leaps and bounds over the years. We are blessed to be a part of the community!

God allows us a certain amount of time to be guardians of our children, and we want to cherish them.

  • summer program


    The Adventure Club Summer Program is open to children three years old through those who completed 5th grade in the previous school year.  Our program is designed to meet the needs of local families who need quality, affordable care for their children.  We offer children a safe, caring and fun place to spend their summer vacation.  Our summer teachers provide the children social, emotional, physical and spiritual guidance as they lead them in lots of fun-filled activities throughout the summer.
     
    Registration
    Each year registration for the summer program opens to members of Simpsonville Baptist Church and those families already enrolled in Adventure Club programs on March 1.  Registration opens to the general public on April 1.  The summer program has a 3 day minimum.  Families will only be able to register for 1 or 2 days if spots are available at the end of April.

    Tuition is due by 6 PM on Tuesdays each week.

    Schedule
    The summer program will officially begin the day immediately following the last day of Shelby County Public School and will end in August, the day before Shelby County Public School begins. Our summer hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Adventure Club will be closed Memorial day and July 4 in observance of Independence Day.  If July 4 falls on the weekend, a day will be scheduled to observe this holiday.  A calendar of summer events will be available close to the beginning of each summer.
     
    Programming
    The Adventure Club staff works hard to ensure that our children have the best possible experience while attending the summer program. AC brings new activities each year to ensure all children have a new experience with the same safe and secure environment. The AC staff provides weekly themed activities that go along with our crafts, career days, devotions, and game activities.  We also provide several opportunities throughout the summer for the children to go on fun field trips in the Louisville area.  Throughout the summer, the children also have several opportunities to choose a "Club" to be a part of.  Those clubs include activities such as cooking, soccer, basketball, art, weird science and more.  We also daily participate in the Shelby County Library's summer reading program.   We will begin taking our older grades to Simpsonville Park to utilize the spacious grounds during the day with planned activities and games.

    Meals and Snacks
      Adventure Club provides breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack for all children over the age of one. Food prepared for or at the center will be properly planned, prepared, and portioned according to the Child Care and Adult Care Food Program and the state requirement for food service.
     
    Rest Time
    All children are required to participate in a quiet  time.

    Purpose Statement
    The purpose of Adventure Club Preschool is to provide age-appropriate activities for three and four year old children in a planned Preschool setting.  The staff offers a quality program that allows children to learn at their own pace while giving them the structure and consistency they need.  We believe that God loves each person with an unconditional love and our aim is to show that love to each child so that he/she may love others in the same way.

    Daily activities are planned to encourage growth and development in the following areas:

    Registration

    Adventure Club start date for the 2017-2018 year is the same as Shelby County Public schools August 2, 2017!

    Registration begins in February each year for families with children currently enrolled and church members.  Open registration begins on February 13th  for the general public.
    Preschool follows the Shelby County public school calendar. Preschool will begin on August 2, 2017.  Classes are available for 2 year olds on T/Th, 3 year olds on T/TH and 3 & 4 year olds on M/W/F and M-F.  All classes meet from 9am-12pm.
    Adventure Club Preschool is offering a PreKindergarten Plus class. The class is for children who will be 5 before December 31, 2017.  This class will be held Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 1:30 PM.  Please call Adventure Club for more information.

    Fees
    Preschool fees are as follows for the 2015/2015 school year:
    Registration fee:  $75/child $100/child after May 31st, 2017

        2 day - 2 year old fees                    $140 per month          

        2 day - 3 year old fees                    $130 per month

        3 day - 4 year old fees                    $175 per month

        5 day – 4 year old fees                   $215 per month

        5 day Pre K +                                  $275 per month


    If your child attends all 5 days of Preschool with before and extended care, the weekly tuition is $135 per week.  Depending on the days of the week extended care is needed this could change the tuition rate.  Please email for more information if needed to tracy@simpsonvillebaptist.com










  • adventure club after school care



    Adventure Club's After School program is dedicated to providing excellent care for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Transportation is provided to Adventure Club by the Shelby County School System via school bus from Simpsonville Elementary School.  Children attending other schools are welcome to join our After School program, however, those families will be responsible for securing their own transportation to Adventure Club.

    Registration for the After School Program begins in March and remains open until all spots are filled.  Children can enroll for a minimum of 3 days.  Children may be allowed to enroll for 1 or 2 days if spots are available.

    After School Schedule
    Each day the children arrive around 2:40 p.m.  Between 2:40 and 6:00 p.m., all After School classes rotate after snack and Bible story to board games, electronics, homework time, and large muscle play time in the gym or outside on the playground.

    Homework Time
    Homework time is made available for all children. Our teachers facilitate this homework time and are happy to provide assistance to the children as needed.  However, they do not provide one-on-one tutoring with the children and it is the parent's responsibility to check a child's homework for accuracy and completeness each night.
     
    Schedule
    When preschool ends at 12:00 p.m., children enrolled in Extended Care immediately go to their lunch rooms where they wash their hands, pray and have lunch.  (Each child is required to bring a lunch daily.)  After lunch, the children clean up and go to their rest times.  Rest time lasts until 2:00 everyday.  For the rest of the afternoon, the children rotate between times of structured free play, art, music, Bible story, snack and large muscle play.

    Full Day Care
    Full Day Care will be provided only for children already enrolled in the Adventure Club After School program on days in which Shelby County Schools are closed.   Currently there is no additional fee for this service.  Please note that Adventure Club will close for the following holidays:  New Year's Eve and Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Day after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  Adventure Club may choose to close for additional days around Christmas.  These days will be scheduled prior to the start of the school year.*
     
    Inclement Weather
    When Shelby County Schools are closed due to Inclement Weather, Adventure Club will provide care for currently enrolled After School Care students between the hours of 6:30 am and 6:00 pm.*  If the weather is so severe that sufficient Adventure Club staff cannot report to work, Adventure Club will be closed.  An additional $10 fee will be charged for each child who attends on an inclement weather day.  This fee is due at the time the child is dropped off.

    After Pre-School Care (Extended Care)

    If your child attends Adventure Club Preschool, Before Care, and Extended Care 5 days per week, the weekly tuition is $135.  If your family does not need the tuition will be based on the need of care. For more information, please contact the director by email: cindy@simpsonvillebaptist.com


    The Adventure Club After School program also offers after-preschool care for 3 & 4-year-olds enrolled in Adventure Club preschool. 

    The cost of Extended Care is NOT included in the monthly Preschool fee.  Extended Care is an additional fee,

  • adventure club infant/toddler program



    The purpose of Adventure Club Infant/Toddler Program is to provide care for, infants, toddlers, two, and, three old children age appropriate activities in a planned setting.  The staff offers a quality program that allows children to learn and grow at their own pace while giving them the structure and consistency they need.  Daily activities are planned to encourage growth and development in the following areas:  Social, Emotional, Intellectual, Physical, and Spiritual.


    Adventure Club will provide a loving, nurturing center for your family.  AC will provide care for children 6 weeks to 3 years of age in the Infant/Toddler program.  Once the child has been potty trained and space is available, the child will move into the Adventure Club Preschool Program and Summer Program. Please refer to Adventure Club Family Handbook for more information regarding our program.

    Adventure Club is currently accepting pre-registration paperwork for the Infant/Toddler Program.
    Registration fee $150
    There is a yearly $75 registration fee due in March of each year.
