The Heart Check

The Heart Check | Jonah 4 | Pastor Brett Martin

Jonah knew all the right things about God. He even quoted them back to him: gracious, merciful, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love. But in Jonah 4 we see that good theology doesn't always lead to a heart that beats for what God's heart beats for, and that "the remedy for a hard heart is more of God's heart."

This message is part of our Counseling Jonah series, preached by Pastor Brett Martin at Simpsonville Baptist Church on October 25, 2026.

Scripture: Jonah 4 (ESV)
