As you think through your own walk with Christ, you’ll probably come across a few next steps that you want to take at Simpsonville Baptist. After all, it’s easy to see the need to grow with others in a group, or find a place where you can use your gifts. As you find ways to get more involved, don’t miss one of the important commitments you can make with your church family: becoming a member!
Once you see all that God wants to do in and through you here, you can’t help but want to get off the sidelines and be a part of this family. Becoming a member means you’re committing to being an active part of the work God is doing here, and giving us the opportunity to commit to care for you. Being a church member is one of the best ways you can put your gifts to work and make a difference here and in our community.

A Few Simple Action Steps
Step 1: Your Relationship with Jesus Christ
(The most important step) Have you entered into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ? If you are unsure, we would love to meet with you to answer any question you may have.
"Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
- Romans 10:9

Step 2: Biblical Baptism by Immersion
Jesus Christ modeled a baptism of repentance. Here at Simpsonville Baptist Church we believe that baptism is an act of obedience towards God and is an outward expression of your inward decision to follow Jesus.
